Bob, I sent you a PM regarding the wheels if they aren’t needed by the OP.

Hi Nerl,

I have a bunch of miscellaneous parts including bars, stems, pedals, etc.
But I'm not as smart or organized as anyone else on the list. I live in
Park Slope on St Marks Pl. You are free to check out my basement and pick
amongst my bits and pieces. Maybe between Justin and me you can get most of
what you need.

I have a spare set of Albatross bars with with a newish Nitto stem, cheapo
Shimano levers, and a sun race friction shifter, all from Riv. Let me know if
you’re interested. I can give you a good price. I live in Brooklyn.

I have some spare pedals and other things to that may be of interest in setting
up the bike. Again happy to give a good deal.

[RBW] Re: Quick introduction and Clem parts questions

2019-11-27 Thread Nerl L.
Hello All,
Thanks for all the helpful replies! I posted an earlier reply, with some
pics (of another bike), which is either still awaiting moderation, or got
lost.
Kai, I hope you are not in pain! I've been following your posts regarding
tubeless, I think I need to study up!
Dorothy, may I trouble you to refer that ebay wheel vendor to me?
Patrick, my Clem is shipping out next week. I'll be sure to keep you
updated. Pics of my 80's Dawes (alas, about to be demoted to second
string) are what held up my earlier post.

More later, enjoy the holiday!
Best,
Noah

2019-11-27 Thread Adam Leibow
if it were me, i would see if i could find a used wheelset at the same
pricepoint but with more classic parts (non-disc hubs, more silver parts).
you could, as someone else mentioned, do a want-to-buy post for a wheelset
at $150.
