Automatically listed with major pricing errors? Listing program? Technical
issue? Huh? That does not make much sense to me. Somebody has to input the
stuff, including picking a price. I notice that the seller currently has
zero items for sale. I imagine eBay may be having a word with them.
I am sure you would have not problem unloading. Saves me explaining how good of
a deal it is to my wife. She normally doesn't buy that argument.

Yeah, I'm really not bummed at all, I honestly expected to see this in my
inbox sooner than later.
If I am being honest I have wy too many bikes as it is. But agreed, I
was flying high on the fumes of that deal yesterday for sure.

I emailed to see if they had any other. Said they sold and shipped one. Didn't
have another one. Great buy.

too bad, i looked at their listings for other bikes and noticed quite a few
that were priced too low when compared with other ones that looked to be
priced retail.
it's too bad, but at the same time it seems like an honest mistake and not
something sketchy so gotta let it go. besides think

Yeah, I saw that. Same photos, description and inventory number. I'm kinda
fighting the urge to contact the seller, but I don't want to spook the
horse. Thinking I'll just wait and see what shows up (or doesn't).

It was the same bike listed twice and sold twice. Take a look at sold
rivendells.

Wow, had I seen this listing I would've purchased immediately as well.
Congrats on the new Cheviot and great deal!

Since we're talking about ones that got away. Not as great a deal as the OP.
But mine is a Choco bar orange sam that looked like it just left riv hq, for
1600 last week. Mine to turn down and decided the roadini or something similar
made more sense for me. But feel a little tinge...

You
I thought there were two cheviots. One sold for slightly less than the other.
What luck to see that first.

I was watching with envy as someone won a like-new 55cm Appaloosa frameset
for something like $800. I'm pretty sure the seller is a poster here.

I could be wrong on this, but Bicycle Blue Book may be the clearing house
for bikes traded in under the following program:
http://www.bicycleretailer.com/retail-news/2017/06/12/bicycle-blue-books-trade-program-expands-performance-and-other-major#.WUCg8jOZO_s
I suppose it might be worth watching

I did! Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. Still kinda can't.
It had only been up for about an hour, and had two watchers, so I pulled
the PayPal trigger before the seller realized the very likely error of
his/her ways.
If it's any consolation, I had to pay CA Sales Tax.
