I don't know if Dura Ace DT shifters can be converted. You'd need that
little keyed washer index thing to fit the shifter on the pod (as opposed
to the curved ones that fit on the downtube). I have lots of pods, but no
extra little keyed washer index things.

The Shimano pods need to be altered slightly to work with other DT
shifters. The raised square section (which receives the square-hole spacer)
has a half-moon nub on one side that needs to be filed down before other
shifters will fit properly.

Jim -- I'm interested in buying a pair of pods if you are selling them
relatively cheaply -- this for the Rambouillet.
Will your pods work with 7 speed-era Dura Ace dt shifters? I do have the
keyed washers.
LMK.
Thanks.

Some and oddly not all Shimano pods have a nub on the square that
interferes with the square-holed spacer that fits over it. If so, two
options:
(1) Dremel down the nub, a do-able pain, I've done it twenty times in the
early days;
(2) Cut out the square-holed washer so it fits over it.

I have tons of Shimano pods, which I think work with silver shifters
(correct me if I'm wrong). I can send you some.

I have Dura Ace DT shifters but would love barcons. Possible to convert
