I agree. I've seen the "who rides." articles in the old Readers and
always enjoyed them. I really hope they can pull off a weekly "who
rides" posting.

Agreed. Similar to the "Ur Riv" thread its wonderful to see how people use
their bikes and how they make them their own.
I recall Will soliciting pictures (drive side, decent quality) and some
descriptors for the "who rides" section, so maybe we can just inundate his
inbox, ha.

I took Riv's advice from a Blug post a couple of years ago and bought
700x45 Smart Sams for my 56 orange canti-Sam. They've been wonderful,
bouncy fun on trails. Two things that surprised me: they are much more
supple than I expected and much quieter on the roads (only some expected

toward getting the bronze Rosco Bubbe road last year. I currently run
700x42 Cazaderos and like them just fine. I also considered the Simworks

Deacon - I would love to try Jan's knobbies, but I think there is too much
pavement in my world for a high-end knobbie. Based on my experience with
Compass tires, they would wear too quickly.

with Noodles, bar end shifters, and v-brakes and the bike really rode well.
It was a 650 b wheeled bike with Velocity Dyads and the Rivy freewheel
