Wonder if the steel wool would eat into that greyish finish. Overall, not sure I like them. They don't look right to my eyes. And the pedal threading seems awfully deep. Seem to be like the old Bullseye cranks which were popular back in early mountain biking days. Tioga also made the Revolver.

The crank looks OK to me. It isn't pretty, but it's not terrible like a big black carbon thing. I'm sure the weight will be be fine. . . and there's heavier AL cranks out there too. As I get older, the vanity of bike parts is wearing thin on me. Trying to get proper silver this and that in a
