Dan, thanks for the heads up on those. They are very reasonable. http://www.jensonusa.com/Resist-Nomad-700C-Tire How do they compare with a 35/37 Pasela in ride quality? I like Paselas a lot, just wish for something with a bit more volume. On Fri, Mar 22, 2013 at 11:20 AM, Dan McNamara

I have a set of the 35mm Nomads ( actually 33mm) on the Coho for a while. Fast rolling and great cornering, but seem to wander when traveling in a straight line. I took them off after a few hundred miles and went back to JB's. ~mike On Saturday, March 23, 2013 9:00:07 AM UTC-7, danmc wrote:

It's pretty darn hard to improve upon Jack Browns! A 40-42mm JB would be a pretty damn fine tire! A 40-42mm folding Pasela w/out Tourguard would be a pretty damn fine second choice as well! On Sat, Mar 23, 2013 at 9:39 AM, Mike Schiller mikeybi...@rocketmail.comwrote: I have a set of the

Yeah, I'm surprised one doesn't exist yet. I guess Rivendell finds all those good things in the Marathon Supreme in 700x40, but I still think a Jack Brown Green in 700x40 would be the LeBron James of tires. Sent from my iPhone On Mar 23, 2013, at 9:44 AM, cyclotourist cyclotour...@gmail.com

Although not high tpi, I have enjoyed the big Resist Nomads. They measure out a little over 40 on Velocity Synergy rims. They leave a little to be desired in the finish department (nowhere near as good as Panaracer tires) but the price is right, they are plush and feel quick. No flats in over 1000
