[RBW] FS: 61cm Roadeo
I’ve decided to go ahead and list this bike here. This is a phenomenal bike. I’ve said many times on this list before, it’s the best bike I’ve ever owned and still stand by that. Just not doing the long road rides that I used to. It’s in great condition, with the exception of the paint. The paint is chipped in many places as you can see in the photos. You can get a complete bike and re-do the paint for less than the cost (and wait) of a new frame. Saddle and pedals are included! https://photos.app.goo.gl/dKm8kgX7V2Nu8K34A $1,900. Buyer pays for the shipping. Parts List: Frame and fork: 61cm Roadeo frame, Waterford made, heated treated steel Handlebar: 48mm Nitto Noodles wrapped in blue newbaum’s cloth tape (no shellac) Stem: Nitto dirt drop, 100mm (I have a technomic 100m that I can include if you don’t like the dirt drop) Brifters: Shimano ST-R7000 105 Shift/Brake Lever Brakes: Shimano BR-R451 Mid Reach Brake Caliper Front derailer: Shimano FD-R8000 Ultegra Double Front Derailleur Rear derailer: Shimano RD-R8000 Ultegra Rear Derailleur Bottom Bracket: Shimano SM-BBR60 Ultegra 6800 Crank: Shimano FC-R8000 Ultegra Double Crankset - 175mm x 34/50t Pedals: VP Components VP-001 Platform Pedals, Blue Saddle: Ergon sport saddle with cutout. Re: [RBW] FS: 61cm Roadeo
Clayton, If you could fit on a 59 cm, I have a Roadeo I'm considering selling. It's a 2010 model with the dark grey & kidney red color way shared with the early Hunqapillar. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. [RBW] FS: 61cm Roadeo
Hi all- So, I’ve hemmed and hawed over this decision…but I’ve decided to sell my 61 cm Roadeo. It one of the demos that Rivendell was selling in the winter for $2500. It’s an absolutely fantastic bike...light and nimble, yet stable...but my summer plan of engaging in epic road rides never really materialized (turns out noodling around the city and local woods on my SimpleOne is more my style). And it’s simply too nice a bike to be sitting in my apartment unused. Since the new owner will likely want to choose a proper length stem, proper width bar, and their preferred saddle, I thought I would leave those off and just offer it with everything else… Drivetrain: Sugino XD2 Double, Shimano 105 RD, Campy Chorus FD, 9speed Riv Cassette, Dura-Ace Barend Shifters Brakes: Standard Riv Tiagra Levers and Shimano Sidepulls Wheels: Rich-built standard Riv wheels (Velocity rims to Tiagra hubs) and brand new Jack Browns Ultegra Headset, VO Grand Cru Seatpost …and then take $300-ish off the price. It’s in really nice shape and has barely been ridden (by me, at least). Brand new Jack Brown Greens were installed a few weeks back. There are some paint scrapes / chips (it was a Rivendell demo as mentioned), but nothing that can’t be touched up if you so desire. I’ve just covered them with clear nail polish, but if you’re uber finicky, you could get it repainted a color of your choice and get a (nearly) complete bike for the price of a frame. I also have some MKS Touring Lite pedals and two rolls of black Newbaums cotton tape I can throw in if you want them. How does $1900 + shipping sound? I will have the bike professionally packed by my local LBS. Any questions, feel free to email me! I’ve included a few photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/35128198@N02/albums/72157673326709465 Unfortunately, my studio is in disarray and my camera is packed away. So these are (not so great) cell phone pics. If you’re interested and would like more detail shots, I’m happy to send them.
