Total speculation: the QB was conceived as a low cost, utilitarian bike with minimal frills. The stamped steel dropouts were stong and effective (not to mention ingenious at the time), but not especially pretty. The FJ was intended to be very much the opposite. Plus, manufacturing and desi

Just curious why the original QB/SO track end was redesigned... Does anyone know how the new one changes the flexibility of gearing...isn't it still an 8 tooth difference while maintaining brake pad position? Maybe it's so they could extend the chain stays? -- You received this message because y
