I'll play on this one. I got mine as part of a bonus checkpoint at the 9th 
and final running of the Broken Hearts and Bicycle Parts alley cat that my 
local bike co-op used to put on as a fundraiser. It was my first and is, so 
far, my only tattoo. I got it because I knew it would be a reminder of 
bikes and community and a really fun day with friends. That race was called 
9 Lives and High Fives. They had lots of good tattoos over the years:

Tim, I'm sure I've seen some images of Jerry Bears and skeletons on bikes, 
but I can't find them on Google right now. That would make a sweet tatt 
though.

I thought about various tatoos all my life, but discarded each idea because 
I'm too fickle and they would be permanent.  
Then, at 64, I saw a drawing similar to this,


and decided "that is me!"
