with you, even 700c's look undersized on that frame. But once you climb

Hilsens look good, but throw some 36'ers on 'em and proportions can stay

Looking at the pictures of the seat lug in question on the most recent Blug
post, I was also speculating (before having seen Tom's GP quote from the
archives there) that it was a bike meant

I thought that lug in question is the center diagatube lug. Seat tube
passes through top to bottom. Diagatube plugs in the front, and the two
plugs you see are the middle stays that continue the diagatube line down to
the rear dropout.
