[RBW] Re: Fausto's compared to Alberto's riding position.

2012-04-20 Thread Bill M.
It's not unusual for a modern pro to look like a POW. Prime example:

2012-04-20 Thread PATRICK MOORE
He was a Marshwiggle, for you Narnia readers. But the point of the
website was that there isn't really that much difference in efficient
position over the years.

[RBW] Re: Fausto's compared to Alberto's riding position.

2012-04-20 Thread Michael Hechmer
The only disadvantage I have found with bars at or above the seat is when I
want to rock the bike while standing up. But as I age I find I sit down,
both on and off the bike, a lot more.

[RBW] Re: Fausto's compared to Alberto's riding position.

2012-04-20 Thread ascpgh
Coppi has a very different off-bike physique. The nickname "stork"
surely had something to do with the contrast of his appearance on the
bike and off, as the bird, graceful in flight yet so awkward on the
ground. His bike's fit to his proportions ought to be compared to that
more than Contador. Time in P.O.W. camps and life before the invention
of the Twinkie is all that keeps him that low in the hooks.

A sign of the End Times: Patrick Moore has raised his bars to saddle
height! :)

I hope you like it.
