"It looks like you're in like Flynn (whatever that means)!." I just heard about the source of that idiom on a replay of "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me" on NPR. It's most commonly considered a reference to Errol Flynn, who had a notoriously easy time with the ladies. When you effortlessly accomplish something, you are "in like Flynn". Google it, it's pretty entertaining stuff. There's one variant where "in like Flynn" means you effortlessly did something bad, and not only succeeded, but you also got away with it, unpunished. That also refers to Errol Flynn, who had to go to trial for his exploits with an underage girlfriend. He was acquitted, which added to his notorious rep. When I first joined the group and began posting, there would typically be a 1 or 2-day lag until my post would show up. Hard to be part of a convo that way. But fret not; its only temporary.
