[RBW] Re: Pannier Anchor for Nitto R-15

2011-10-20 Thread dougP
There was a guy on the list selling a pair of R-15s a long while
back. IIRC he sold one but had still had the second. Try searching
the group for "Nitto R-15" & see what comes up. He was in LA.

2011-05-09 Thread Ray Shine
I agree that it's too bad that they didn't think to put a bungee hook on the
R-15. But, One can make good use of the rack by using the Ortleib brand of
bags. They don't use bungee clips. Rather they use an adjustable bracket that
can be set to optimize the R-15.

2011-05-09 Thread Ginz
Thomas,

Thanks for pointing out the lack of bungee hook. I would have
completely overlooked that. I also like that rack and maybe I would
make a small bungee hook from a piece of scrap metal.

How about some photos with your TourSacks installed!!

2011-05-08 Thread Thomas Lynn Skean
Yeah, new ones, when available, are pricey. Ben's Cycle and Alex's
Cycle appear to have them, though. I suspect I'll get one from one of
those places if the need (e.g. a second RBW bike) arise.

I really like the R-15 too. In fact, if anyone has a spare, let me
know, I'll take it off your hands.
