Agreed, hanging out and chatting was the best part. Oddly, I had a bit of 
'option paralysis' looking at all the stuff: My brain couldn't resolve the 
need-to-bike equation on the spot, so I just got the one shirt from the garage 
sale.

I showed Vince a Pletscher rack I broke and he happily gave me a brand new 
one from the pile for free. I bought 3 rims, 3 wheels, a stem/bar, and 2 
tires.

What were the big ticket items they had? I see the 50cm cheviot someone 
snagged for $1k! What was the $2k one (I think the blug post said items up

So many wheels and hubs!  Also, scored one of those $60 Woolpower tops, $5 
cargo net, $10 Altus, $6 Fiskars branch trimmer, a lightweight adjustable 
Pletscher kickstand I'd never seen before, and a Jumbo Grabsack prototype. 
 Fun scene.  Just bummed I didn't have time Saturday to stick around for 
the ride afterwards.  Thanks for posting pictures, Manny.  Love the picture 
of the woman hugging her Cheviot frame.

I got a Bike, Book & Hatchet shirt for 5 bucks, then bought a MultiSack and bar 
tape after the shop opened. 

I brought my Dahon folder 2-speed for a little underbiking at Shell Ridge. I 
saw the group ride leave from RBW as I was pulling out, then saw them again at 
the trailhead just as I had packed my bike back in the car. I met Mark's wife, 
Amy, on the trail, which was very cool. I had just finished walking up a hill 
when a beautiful chartreuse Rivendell rode by. I was like, I know that bike! 

It was a lovely Rivendell day.
