Yeah, this is more or less my thinking as well, but just wanted to kinda double-check on it to know what I'm up against.
I put enough dings and dents into my 10-year-old Sam Hillborne that I'm ready to move on to something else. Initially I'd thought just get another Sam, but I'm looking at the Roadini and it really looks exactly like the road bike of my dreams. So I am considering it carefully (in part because it's a lot cheaper than a new Sam). I would, likely, eventually get a second bike, something more trail/dirt oriented. But I also like to be able to have the option for taking any bike I ride onto rougher terrain if/when desired. Anyway, looking at all the options. And it looks like now is the time to get while the gettin's good, so to speak, given that latest missive about cash flow problems. I know it's going to be one of the two frames, so I went ahead and bought $300 in gift cards, toward the "hail mary" effort. Hope it helps. Fingers crossed.
