Bin Chen - yes, I asked them about this a while back and they said there
will be 26" options coming, but I think the timeline was something like end
of this year. Sounds like the 26" will be around 2.1"

I think I saw somewhere, on instagram maybe, they said 2 months (roughly
from now) for the 26" offering ...which is also when the 700 version of the
other tire model is released

Are these tires difficult to mount? I know this is largely determined by
rim choice, but I'm always super worried about buying anything 'tubeless
compatible'

I ended up ordering the 700c Cava Robusto's for more protection. They
arrived yesterday and I'll probably mount them this week and report back.

I just ordered the Cava JFF in 700, and they're set to arrive on Thursday.
I probably won't get around to mounting them right away but I'm happy to
share my impressions.

[RBW] Re: Ultradynamico Tires

2020-06-18 Thread Mike E
I think most riders consider the Ultradynamicos dirt centric tires. They
may not be ideal for paved roads. The Rose works well on gravel but is a
bit knobby on pavement. The knobs are spaced very far apart. I found the
Cava a bit harder to like. The micro-knobs are very thin and tall and they
squirm noticeably when riding on pavement. Unfortunately the 700C model is
based on the Cava and not the better liked Rose. You can read my review of
both tires at https://gravelanddirt.blogspot.com. Let us know what you
ultimately decide and how you like your new tires!
