Yeah, the white's pretty flashy. I think it pulls the bike together pretty well but I can definitely understand why it might not work for everyone... Yes, agreed. The Regals seem like quite good saddles. On Wed, Mar 31, 2010 at 6:31 PM, J. Douglas Way wrote: > Steve- > > Your orange Ram looks fantastic with the white tape/saddle! RE: [RBW] Rambouillet white out!
Looks good to me: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2269/1814472887_ce512baab9_b.jpg Not easy to see but the bike had just been toured for two weeks and the 750 miles in 4 days of rain and the tape was pretty gray: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2173/1760792941_8a1ef9e248_o.jpg Most of the dirt can be washed off using simple green so it isn't that hard to keep the white tape reasonably clean. The biggest issue I had was after changing a tire and handling a dirty chain on the side of the road. The grease on my hands left a stain that did not come completely out. Rubber gloves or some had wipes in your bag would be a good idea. Larry Powers Get a bicycle.
