Hi Joe, I think you are right, the CX70 derailleur cage is very narrow no matter how much fine tuning I do it still keeps rubbing. When I picked up my Cheviot at Riv, as per their recommendation I bought from them the CX70 together with the XD2 double not knowing that I will be using a 8 speed gear system. Thanks Joe :-)
