in the case of Texas, it's not the heat (cold), it's the humidity - holding
at 32 with light rain is cold that gets through your layers - even
permeates the house.

Can you send some BTUs to Texas also? It hasn't gotten over 45 in like 4-5
days. The average high for March 1 is 68. I had to call off the 200K I
was hosting yesterday due to Winter Storm Warning for freezing rain
overnight lasting until noon Saturday.

I think I'm finally going to have to bundle up and go ride, it's 40.6 and
I'm hoping the rain has finally stopped.

Re: [RBW] OT:Is your bippy frozen?

2015-03-01 Thread Anton Tutter
As of today, here in Boston we've received 101.7 inches of snow, just 6
inches shy of the record for Boston seasonal snow totals. It's snowing
again tonight, with 4-6 inches expected, so we may be setting a new record
tonight...

I would love to be able to send all this stuff to California. Heck, no need
to send us the BTUs in exchange, just take the snow... please!

I'd be glad to send you some snow if I could. Our snowfall has been about
normal, which is a lot, but not like they often get in he high Sierras. We
have missed the coastal storms which have hammered the east coast with 10
feet of white stuff.

We are headed for a month in Oaxaca, Mx on 3/17, so at least I know when it
will be over for me. God willing, the creek don't rise, and the TSA is
working.

Can you send us some snow in return? I'm worried for our Truckee River
running through the heart of downtown Reno during the summer months.
