Alexis,Good eye! ;) Some of my favorite grips ever. I also have a set of the WTB-modded ones, with the cut down flange, so they work better with shifters. Those I’m saving for a Phoenix rebuild I’ve had in the works for a longtime now. This version was being saved for a single speed build someday, the Uno being close enough!I wish you’d looked at that Bruce, too! I’m lucky enough to have both a Rock n Road and Chinook. Sometimes even my own luck astounds me!P. W.~(917) 514-2207~On Mar 21, 2025, at 11:12 PM, R. P.W.,

Nice Magura (pre Wilderness Trail Bikes modified) grips! Nice bars also.
You been holding onto those for something special like this? I have a set
of WTB modified ones on my Rivendell Mountain. Got them when a shop closed
in the early 90's, probably about 1993 or so along with some other stuff.
Wish I would have looked at the Bruce Gordon they had there.

Thanks,

Reginald Alexis

Re: [RBW] Re: RoadUno 'Flat' Bars

2025-03-21 Thread Jason Fuller
Two bars that I've been really liking and fit the Riv aesthetic perfectly
are the Crumbworks KT bar and the B802, both Nitto heat treated aluminum.
The B802 has about 25 degrees of sweep while the Crumbworks is close to
40. Both 25.4mm and 720mm wide, with room to cut down as well

Re: [RBW] Re: RoadUno 'Flat' Bars

2025-03-20 Thread Otto Frey
Great pics Philip. That looks like just the kind of shape I had in mind.
The Ahearne Map bars look good as well. I'm going to try some VO Curvy bars
that I found on ebay. I'm sure Wavies or the in-the-works new bar would
have nicer finishes and make, but the shape of the VO's should be about the
same.

Thanks for the recommendations all
