I've tried the Moustaches many times, to no avail, but they were most
comfortable, almost eliminating hand pain, when I had them low and
long, as with drops so that the hoods more or less mimicked the hoods
on drop bars. But then the problem was the lack of any more relaxed
and upright position comparable to the flats or the ramps on a drop
bar. But with hands on the brake levers positioned per Grant, I found
them aerodynamic and conducive to a powerful stroke -- the last
probably due to the inclination of the back.
