Re: [RBW] Suspect CL Atlantis posting

2012-11-14 Thread Garth

YES !!!

Someone got their bike back ... GREAT ! This is what matters most to
me.

For reference I did have a bike stolen once ... and someone "caught".
Did I feel an ounce of vengeance or punishment towards the person ? No .
What good does it do me to harbor such feelings of MY heart and mind ? It
only hurts ME. Easier said than done ? Not really . it's as easy or
difficult as you choose it to be. I could just as easily say it's easy to
get up in the feeling of being "done wrong" by someone easy to want
revenge easy to want them to "pay" and be punished . Or is it ? Your
feelings within yourself always reveal that punishment of another hurts
yourself more . Who really wants to hurt anymore ? Each to ask
ourselves. or not ...

C'mon now! Wild speculation is fun, but none of us know the whole story
about the CL seller, what evidence is against him, his motives, his
employment situation, his probable court/incarceration costs (if any), etc.
I fear that this is the kind of talk that devolves quickly into a battle of
inane political ideology, and broad generalizations, insulting stereotypes,

Aside from all that, what a GREAT story!

I doubt that. He's probably selling stolen goods because he is not employed,
skilled, or otherwise an income earner. That $10K + will be paid by taxpayers
for his Public Defender, probation officer, and the mostly needless paperwork
that will follow his slap-on-the-hands sentence. At least the bike has been
returned.
