I certainly note along with you that additional difference between the 
Silver mounts and the BL mounts involved. I like and use the exit-angle 
adjustment. And it allows nicely for a stem-mount, though there are and 
probably always will be cheaper/better ways of achieving that with less 
compromise. Blue Lug provides a nice one.

Thomas, as others have pointed out Blue Lug has the Silver 2 shifters with barrel adjusters. I have them on my Gus & even with shipping (2yrs. ago) they cost less than the ones from Riv. But they lack the cable exit adjustment of the Riv units. If Garth is correct (?) I would prefer to have the Riv units. I got these because my rapid rise unit has no adjuster & I thought I needed one.
