James,

The Jap 95 tank used a balanced lever bogie hung off a swing arm. Marc did
something similar with his Leopard. The video clearly shows the 95
suspension in action. Should be simple to build.

 Hello all,

I have been planning to build a Japanese Type 97 Chi Ha Kai (and Type 95
Ha Go) for a long time now, and I am extremely happy that this project will
finally be launched. First however, I have never built anything like this
before (they will be made of metal) so I have decided to build some test
chassis out of cold rolled steel. I am looking for a good suspension set up
at the moment, something simple but efficient. Later will come the Bell
 Crank suspension...

 Thanks all of you.

 Sincerely,

 James.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Japanese tanks, or who would just
appreciate seeing film of them.

Looks like a fun project and good practice before you build a big one!

 Hello Y'all
Tim here with an update!  Check out the attached pictures to see how its
going.  As you probably noticed, it won't win any beauty competitions yet,
but maybe the upper hull will make it look better.  I love the fact that
those tiny motors can take a 9 volt EACH and that the gear boxes for the
servos that I ripped up work so well.  The suspension is a trial and error
idea and maybe it will work.  It's sort of like Christie and torsion bar.
The gun may work and it may not.  IDK.  Enjoy!

P.S. The Panzer IV Ausf D is the model I made measurements off of.
