I agree with Mick there about using lead acid, that's just a few pounds for a bit of trouble. On the other hand if you're going to play with Li on solar, you might as well start small in case something cooks. Keep us posted, I was wondering when one of us would try Li+. Ray In

We used a lag stud assembly from Unirac, with the dreaded L foot at the top of the corrugated ridge, plenty of pooky under. The driver tool for the stud wasn't very useful, and because the stud was stainless we had a hard time driving it all the way in, without over torquing. I'd use a
