Unfortunately, these don't work for us in hurricane-land unless we want to get really close spacing. We generally need to hit structural members in Southwest Florida. We have used Ecofasten bases on flat roofs with metal decking, but wind uplift is still an issue in most cases. *Jason Szumlanski**
