Dave,
I have the Harmon Accentra which is the most expensive one they make.
Got in in trade for a balance owed me by an off-grid client going back to
burning wood. I think the Harmon burn chamber is the best design on the
market and extremely reliable, even when cleaning is ignored. It tells you
with an odd looking flame when it needs to be cleaned. Probably the
lowest cost units from Harmon ( lighter weight materials and probably more
noise are the cost saving reasons) would be a good choice. One
recommendation: Leave enough space around the stove for maintenance,
especially the front and back. I put mine close as possible in a corner and
have to move the stove to access the combustion blower. It is so heavy
that it is close to impossible to move with one person. I find that the
power consumption is reasonable. I live off grid with 8 L16 batteries and
the pellet stove is a significant draw but easily manageable. 75 watts
running and 200 watts in ignition which usually only lasts a few minutes to
10 minutes depending on how clean the floor of the burn pot is.
