Mac — Jay has a good suggestion of the Grundfos RSI. There are other companies making “solar pump inverters” to run standard 3-ph. pumps. And, that IS the way to go for systems of this size. Another supplier in USA is SunPumps. Another is GenPro (Lorentz distributor). How to compare them?

I bet Mike could retire from the industry if he had a nickel for every time he was asked for/about that. I’ve asked Santa for years…… still waiting. T > On Sep 20, 2018, at 5:21 PM, Chris Schaefer wrote: > > Hey Michael from SMA, any chance we can finally get an 240vac SI here in the > states?

Hey Michael from SMA, any chance we can finally get an 240vac SI here in the states? Christopher On Tue, Sep 18, 2018 at 12:11 PM, Harry Mahon wrote: > Marco – > > > > I will need to ask for information about the BYD availability. Once those > units have all required listings/certifications

I wish! 180mph, Exposure Category D - about as bad as it gets in the US. I don't think pole mount will work around here. We need a really beefy structure. It's probably going to have to be custom... and expensive... On Thu, Sep 20, 2018 at 11:10 AM Lorenzo Ortiz wrote: > We've used DPW also

Mac Look at the grundfos RSI It’ll go up to 37kw for standard 3 phase pumps. At 37kw it’s 480 3 phase output and 1000vdc input if I remember correctly Jay > On Sep 20, 2018, at 10:04 AM, Mac Lewis wrote: > > Hello Wrenches, > > This is a larger volume pumping application than I have

Take a look at SnapNrack Series 200 ground mounts. They are based around locally sourced galvanized pipe (typically comes in 21' lengths) and they can be designed in various heights off the ground. Sam Haraldson OnSite Energy, Inc. > > ___ List

[RE-wrenches] High Volume Solar Pumping

Hello Wrenches, This is a larger volume pumping application than I have designed before so I'm trying to head in the right direction. We need ~ 144,000 gallons per day Head is ~70' We'd like to do this via a surface pump(s) if possible. Do you know any equipment that may be able to do this

We've used DPW also with good results. We design for 110 mph winds out here and, depending on how high you go, can require some pretty beefy SCH80 8"-10"D pipe. MT Solar might be something to look at too. They make multi-pole mounts for larger arrays but can get a little pricey. Good luck! On

Hey Jason,Have you considered Pole Mounts?  DPW has a multi-pole system (http://preformed.com/solar/commercial/pole-mounts) that lends itself well to larger systems.Hope that helps!Best,JeffJason Szumlanski wrote:Any suggestions for ground mount racks where panels need to have the leading edge

Any suggestions for ground mount racks where panels need to have the leading edge 6-8 feet above grade (due to flood level requirement)? Also, high wind area... 100kw system rating. Tilt can be as low as 5-10%. We're getting into carport territory here, but I'm trying to keep the cost reasonable

Ray, it is air cooled so no coolant. Engine oil is full and reserve tank is almost full. Could it be a defective sensor? Sure wish Generac would be more helpful to the lowly sales dealers They think we are too stupid to do basic troubleshooting and only service dealers can talk to their

That's what we are looking at, but it's harder to design for this application, if I didn't have to cost it, I would just go with it. We use it for ground mount, and it is the strongest racking for tough conditions. I think it is what we will end up with. On Wed, Sep 19, 2018 at 3:20 PM, Chris
