Dave, Yes, they are interchangable and using it will make the inverter an off grid version. I have done that to several grid tie versions as I do mostly off grid work. Yes, the AC Bd and the FET board and transformer are all the same.. The GVFX control board is for grid tie and usually does

Wrenches. Mark Any good Lithium ion phosphate tech battery has a BMU that protects the battery from over charge and over temp, different brands may have different ways and values, In most cases the inverter battery temp sensor is not used on a LFP batteries and the BMU will control both battery

The only time I worry about temperature in a FLA is during a corrective EQ as opposed to a preventative EQ. If the cells are really way off I just EQ at the recommended V for 5+ hours and then measure SG. I have no worries unless the temp is outside the max recommendation. At that point I would

Outback Gurus, I got this text from a friend. I do not know the years on any of this. The control board on a gvfx 3648 went out on me and a friend has a spare vfx 3648 control board that I can borrow. Does anyone here have actual experience with using a vfx control board in a gvfx inverter?

Greetings Wrenches, I have an unusual request. I have a top of pole rack that was designed incorrectly for the intended modules and i am looking for a dimensional match in a 60 cell module. If you happen to have 12 modules that fit the bill, please contact me off list. (Racking is designed

Folks, A few questions: When charging a FLA battery, even though we use a three stage charging regime controlling voltage/current, is it not true that the real goal is to avoid excess temperature rise inside the cell generally? Do we worry that excess current will cause localized excess
