As I recall from pushing the "wayback" button, Backwoods and Real Goods
used to sell something like that in the 90s. I would only see a
pyschological benefit, based on the system size. I recall that the
charge rate was less than 50 watts, so its really not going to be worth

I have a client that we did an off grid system for about 4 years ago
The system is performing well
The client would like to keep charged her batteries in the winter with her

Home run connections, confirm brand, had issue where it needed more volts
to overcome the poor connections. You will need to be on site with at least
two techs and check each homerun first but l have had module to module
issues. I have also had internal issues at the Jbox some

Can you give more details about the inverter? And when the DC was reading 0
volts, did you try turning off the disconnect at the array to see if
isolating it from the inverter, it would show voltage?

In my experience, if the Trina modules have the TS4 connectors on them and are
mated to an MC4 connector they tend to have issues.
