I've been using the ASCO series 185 and you can get it either as "service entrance" rated or not. Not sure on the nema 3r rating. But I know they make custom units also. Christopher On Wed, Aug 12, 2020 at 9:07 AM August Goers wrote: > Kirpal - > > It's been a few years, but we've used Briggs

The Kohler brand ATS will perform a contact closure when utility power fails for a two wire start generator. it doesn't switch over until it senses the generator ac is present. Your Generac model may or may not be 2 wire start. The newer "smart" ones can be converted with a generac adapter kit.

Kirpal - It's been a few years, but we've used Briggs & Stratton automatic transfer switches on multiple projects with good results. Most of our projects were with Sunny Islands. At least at the time, the transfer swtiches didn't require any external control system to switch from grid to off

Hi Wrenches. Can anyone recommend a good 200A Nema3 auto transfer switch that does not need to have any generator feedback (ie. Generac version which requires signal from generator) to transfer. Basically looking for a dumb version which transfers based on loss of grid voltage, and then
