But Blue Planet does not have a native SOC / voltage monitor. Egauge and Namaka, which I both have on several BI systems, do not correlate. Supposedly they are coming out with a native monitor soon. On Fri, Sep 2, 2022 at 5:51 PM Jerry Shafer via RE-wrenches < re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org>

This has been an issue with me, these batteries all have a basic BMS and then why does Simplify not support their own with a readable BMS, Fortress has a monitor, Blue planet has a BMS. Jerry On Fri, Sep 2, 2022 at 11:32 AM Matt Sherald via RE-wrenches < re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org> wrote:

Hi Matt, I typically like to keep battery monitors consistent with inverter manufacturers. Outback and Schneider Electric and Magnum offer good native battery monitors that, when tuned in correctly, work well with LFP. That being said, I have definitely used the Victron BMV 712 paired with

Default efficiency on the TriMet was 94%, needs to be quite a bit higher for Li+.  I'd try 98%. 2nd point:  Customers have always obsessed about meter readings: they need to take a chill pill, and accept its not going to be better than +/- 10% accuracy.  Or get a Fortress battery with built

Matt, you didn't indicate whether this is a TM2020 or a newer TM-2030. The steps are the same, so it shouldn't matter. Set the charge efficiency to 99%. Set the voltage to a few tenths of a volt below the Simpliphi's BMS setpoint. Set the amps to off. Make sure that P01 for auto reset is on.

I am having the same problem - same situation. I am going to tweak the efficiency value and see if it helps. *Eric Smiley,* Project Manager e...@vecoop.ca T: 250.703.6004 <+12507036004> T: 888.386.0116 <+18883860116> *VIRIDIANENERGY.CA * *

I’ve never installed simplify batteries. Do they make their own state of charge monitor? The trimetric has a perimeter called charge efficiency % You can tweak that to get it to match the any benchmark more closely. Also the trimetric should be reset to full on a regular basis, When you have

Hello Friends, I have an off-grid customer for whom I recently installed some SimpliPhi 3.8kW batteries. This is an older system and it has a Trimetric battery monitor that the homeowners have used for years to keep an eye on their battery bank. The SimpliPhi batteries appear to be working fine
