I would add that there is a big range in LVD in lithium batteries.
Simpliphi has a really high one, others much lower which do work with older
equipment and their LBCO settings.

Look at the fortress Evault Max 18.5 BMS, display, battery enclosure all
together and they work well better than the simplify parts and pieces,

For LBCO, you can wire the inverter AUX port to the inverter Enable port (there
is a jumper installed by default). Then program AUX for a higher set point.
It would be great if battery companies added an AUX port as a warning before
shutting down.

I agree with John
A pretty simple fix is to install a relay on the AC side controlled by the AUX
of the inverter.

Matt, I have several systems with the same mix working ok except that the
low battery cutoff can’t be set high enough to shut down the inverter
before the BMS shuts off the battery. Have had to manually restart the
batteries. Problem only occurs if generator doesn’t start as programmed or
I was told early MX charge controllers (pre-2011) would lose their mind if the
BMS for lithium Batteries shut down under load.. something about they weren’t
designed for that kind of surge.. but I think the issue was corrected in like
2012..

Hello Wrenches,
I've got customers with an ailing battery bank and I'm working to sketch
out a replacement plan. I'd like to offer them a Li option, but they have
a suite of older electronics and I'm writing to ask the list if anyone
feels like they've settled on a Li brand that works well with
