A simple solution that I've used is to utilize an
off-the-shelf lighting timer. You can get an
inexpensive unit that plugs into an outlet. Take
the 120 V AC output and use it to trigger a 120
volt coil relay. Depending on your signal
voltage, this may work. You can set delays by
