Hi Rebekah;
Thanks for pointing out the changes to the diagrams. I especially
appreciate Note (2). /The PV system disconnect in these diagrams
separates the PV system from all other systems./
That seems simple enough for defining the boundaries of RSS, until you
think about off grid, and
I have done it, not hard but limited to 32 kw for backup power, 120/208 3
phaze using Outback FXR

We are building a similar system presently, 60 kW Sunny Island Inverters, 400
kWh battery storage (FLA), dual 100 kW backup generators, 25 kW PV, 5 kW
microhydro.
Don't know what raw capacity you are looking for, we also use XW inverters for
smaller systems but find they don't scale nearly as
I do not want to sound like I am plugging Discover AES batteries and there
use with Schneider and soon Outback. There web page has a 3 phase XW+
system on it and all the coms built in to the BMS to work with Xanbus. AEE
had a webinar also last week. It is on their U-tube channel.

SMA Sunny Island, Outback, and Schneider can all be configured for three
phase systems.

Aloha all.
I'm on the hunt for workable options for a PV plus storage design for a
3-phase 120/208 application.
And there ain't much out there at present.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I strongly recommend looking at the figures that were added in NEC 2017 at
the beginning of Article 690 in 690.1(b).
What they show is equipment that is part of the PV system (to the left of
the PV system disconnect called out in the diagrams), and equipment that is
not part of the
