I am not seeing how ferrites can stop EMP. The frequencies involved will affect diode junction level electronics. Ferrites may lessen the induced surge picked up by the conductors between the array and the inverter/charge controller, but unless the electronics are hardened too, I don’t believe

Hello Wrenches, I don't have a ton of SolarEdge experience, but I found that they seem pretty good at chat support. Fairly fast and effective the few times I've done it. Hopefully they could resolve this issue using this method. You can sign up as an installer and then log in here.
