[RE-wrenches] Helios Modules
Hello Wrenches, We are considering Helios 6T modules from Helios Solar Works of Milwaukee, Wisconsin for some upcoming projects. Does anyone have any insight from experience into Helios in respect to number of years in business, quality of the product, warrantee support etc.? Rich, Helios is one of the module companies that is offering the Exceltech Solar ACPV modules. I too would like to know more about the company and other peoples' experiences. Helios modules are the strongest player in Domestic module market. Our distribution highlights the larger 72 and 96 cell lines and we find both to be very high quality. Our network is pleased with the domestic content (98%) on the D modules and the product is more competitive than other US modules. I AM biased because I know the company principles and the manufacture is in my home state. Yet it gives me confidence to be working with trustworthy people that have a good history in our industry. The company is responsive to my needs and makes a 420 watt PV. This is a great development in our market. C. Dick, I assume that you are referring to Helios, USA out of Milwaukee, WI. I put in about 12kW last year with no issues. They seem like a good solid product. I try to use them whenever i can since they are an in-state manufacturer for me.
