AAHHH!! I really broke it this time.
OK, this morning I got all of the kernel rpm's out of the 5.1 updates directory
on Redhat. I then did rpm -Uvh kernel*.rpm, and everything appeared to update
without a hitch. Unfortunately, upon rebooting my system, I have an ENDLESS

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference in the Linuxconf that is
distributed by a group in Canada, and the one that comes with RH5.1. I had
been running the latest(1.10r34 i think) of the former on 5.0, and just last

I'll try this. I had only tried mouseconfig. And since you brought up
OK...I give up. I have looked and looked, but been unable to find any
instructions anywhere on what I need to change to make X load a different
window manager than the Fvwm that cam on my RH5.0 CD. I have D/L'd Afterstep,
and would like to try that, but I am at a loss...

I just got my RH5.0 CD yesterday, and quickly started installing. It seemed to go quite well at first, but I cannot get Metro-X or XFree either one to load. Upon inspection of log files and things those files pointed to, I think I am missing many files, and that this is due to running out of
