I am interested in installing VMWare on my stand alone system at home.
I have a PIII 600 with 128M. Am running Win95 on a 2.5 Gig hd and RH6.2 on
another 8 gig hd.
Is it possible to install VMWare onto this system with OS already on it?
Do I need more hd
I recently had my old AT based system upgraded to a new PIII 600 system.
When
I got my system back from the technician I noticed that when I booted to
Linux (RH 6.2)
I was getting a message box stating that a PS/2 mouse hardware had been
removed and
was asked whether I wanted to remove that
Anybody have any experience they can related
with installing a 3dfx Voodoo3 2000 video card?

upgrade to a newer / better video

My situation is, I seem to be having some problems with my very old
card. I have a dual boot system to
either Win95 and Linux (RH6.2).
For windoze it is fairly straight

is that the right side of my screen shakes. Regardless of which windows

This is a minor annoyance but something I would like to either get fixed or

I've recently installedthe Windowmaker RPMs on to my system (RH6.2)
and when I start that window manager I get the following error message:
"The application menu could not be loaded. Look at the console output
for a detailed description of the error."
I don't know what this means, I I'm not sure
I am currently using KDE for my windows manager. I installed the KDE
internet applications. I've successfully set up the Mail Client but when I
select the News Client I get a core. After that a lot of stuff quits
working. Is there some known bug and a fix for this problem?

I am running with KDE as my windows manager. I have noticed with the
level in the inittab file set to 5 when I log in I get a fvwm windows
manager. If I change the run level to 3, log in and then startx I get
the KDE windows manager. Why is this and how can I just go directly to
