I set this up recently for a local company. They use Outlook Express to
POP in and get their mail, plus send local intranet mail, the server
dials out at preset times to deliver outgoing mail and pickup any
incoming mail.
Install the IMAP rpm it has the POP3 server in it, enable the POP3
service
Randy,
I have an Ensoniq PCI sound card and it works very well with
OSS. I'm not into serious sound mixing etc... all I do is listen to
CD's, get the occasional realaudio feed and have some cool .au's

This is a summary of the solution sent to me by Joe Doran
It may not have every last option or be fully optimized, but it
works!!
It allows all Win95 machines to resolve local names and FrontPage 98
will start immediately (not error after 5 mins). When the server dials
my ISP, all PC's on
Ignacio,
just for the record, the manufacturer doesn't know what he's
talking about, I have a zip drive hooked up to my Epson 600 and it works
great.
The problem is having the correct modules loaded, either lp.o or ppa.o
Check the Zip mini-howto, it explains all.

James,
when the boot prompt comes up "Linux boot:" type in "linux
single"
This will boot up linux in single user mode without need for a root
password.
Once in, type in "passwd" and set the root password. Suggest you also
create a user account and do most of your work as user, NOT root.
