I've hear about problem using PCI network cards with Linux. I want to know if I'm going to have problems if I try to use a cheap NE2000 compatible PCI network card with Linux. Thanks for your support, Victor Perez Muena -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST

Thanks a lot, now it's working. The only think not working was the "ms-dns" directive on the /etc/ppp/options file. Saludos, Victor Perez Muena -Original Message- From: Arisandy [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, May 27, 1998 9:38 PM To:

linux as a RAS server

1998-05-27 Thread Perez, Victor
Hi all: Does somebody knows how to setup linux to provide RAS dial-up access just like Windows NT? Right know AutoPPP doesn't work for me and I have to setup an IP address on the Windows 95 dial-up networking properties. Thanks for your help. Victor Perez Muena IST analyst Los Pelambres
