Doesn't RH5.0 allow mounting of FAT32? If so, how do I do this with RH4.2? Isn't it just the mount program that does the mounting, or does the kernel have to support it? for the 2.0.30 there was a 'joliet-kernel-patches-0_2_7-1.i386.rpm' (on hurricane web site I guess) that added vfat32

mount: none already mounted or /proc busy

RedHat 5.0 2.0.31 SCSI at boot time i get the message "mount: none already mounted or /proc busy" As I remember the RH 4.2 rc.sysinit used to umount /proc to avoid confusing fsck I think. Is that necessary to RH5.0 ? Then why isn't it included in RH5's rc.sysinit ? Claudiu -- PLEASE

metroX unresolved symbols, and other stuff

My metroX server works smooth, yet the /var/log/Xerrors complains about some unresolved symbols. Is this a real error ? On the other hand, on another computer with a Genius (model 3) serial mouse metroX seems to conflict with gpm. Though it used to work (at least for one X session). The error is

ncurses 4.1
