Command to check RAM configuration

Is their a command in Linux to check the RAM configuration (ie which banks are used, what size is in each bank, ie) Also, can you check the temperature of the CPU's, max, min, etc.. Basically I am ooking for the functionality of the 'prtdiag' command under Solaris used to query Sun's hardware. I
