Hardware Recommendations

I'm looking for a good, inexpensive, Linux-compatible Ethernet card. ISA/10Mb is fine. Any suggestions? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a quality, fairly-inexpensive 17" monitor? I was considering a KDS monitor. Are these any good? Thanks. Tom
