Solved. I wrote to Red Hat who updated my email address before noon
today. Great service by them, IMHO.

My bone-headed problem
I came back from a business trip to find that my account had been
disabled as well. Logging in to the redhat network and changing my
e-mail address and reactivating my account worked like a charm.
