Hi,

some files. It gives me a lot of "Input/Output error". What can I do?

No, I have to connect PPTP or IPSec. I'm connecting to a corporate

it comes with the rh7 install cd. it's a dos utility that lets you resize
partitions of any type. i don't know if there's a linux version available
or if you're willing to pull the disc out and drop it in a windoze box
temporarily, but it's a start. :)

I'm studying C++ at the moment using Code Warrior on windows, but would like
to do it using the development software in red hat 7.2. Have tried a few
times but can't seem to configure it to work properly. Do I have to install
the libraries for C++ or make them myself? As I'm only a beginner wit
I have RH7.2 and a canon bjc6000 printer. It does a great job printing
pictures with gimp, but I can't get it to print text.
I set it up with printconf-gui, it showed me a bjc6000 driver which I
selected. Hit "apply" and then test. Popup box said "sent test page to
printer," but the printer
Have you compiled a new kernel at some time? If so, you may not have
configured the vfat filesystem. If so, they may be compiled as modules. So
a modprobe vfat done as root should provide support.

I am also a student of C++ right now. I have recently been inquiring about
the same thing...I have been told KDE includes a development tool similar to
Visual Studio, it's called KDevelop. Also G++ is a C++ compiler as best I
can tell. I just recently downloaded a free 30 day trial of a C++

Try to replace the line in your /etc/fstab for /dev/fd0 with these two
lines:
/dev/fd0/mnt/floppy ext2
noauto,user,exec0 0
/dev/fd0/mnt/dosfloppy msdos
noauto,user,exec0 0
Do 'mount -a' (as root) to update the changes.

I've used an SiS 6326 and a Matrox G450 both out of the box without any
