Considering it builds just fine with 0.4.1 (as long as you don't build against Qt6) I'd be in favour of reverting ae1ddd8355eb4687f8f718899c4efc3d50e2 (with the ironical title "Fix dependancy") on release/22.04.

No, we're going to release kdev-python with KDE Gear 22.04, it's only broken for people using Python 3.10. Cheers, Albert > > Greetings! > Sven >

Hi, thank you very much for caring. Sven? That branch does NOT work, it will hopefully eventually be ready but not in time for 22.03. The breakage is caused by significant upstream API changes which we were not able to address in time. We have no choice but to not release kdev-python for now. Sorry! Greetings! KDE Gear 22.03 Beta is released
https://kde.org/info/releases-22.03.80/ Everything built locally *except* kdev-python It is a known problem with python 3.10 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438206 There's a python310 branch, but I don't have much information if distros shipping 3.10 should better not ship kdev-python at all or if that branch is worth testing. Sven? Please test :) Cheers, Albert
