Noone disagreed so dropped.

Just in case it might have been missed:
Once this has been decided, please do not forget to update sysadmin/repo-
metadata as needed (cmp. "Moving Projects" at
https://cgit.kde.org/sysadmin/repo-metadata.git/about/ )

Mentioning as I was wondering right now why blogilo was still listed on CI,
until I realized that the repo is still listed as kde/pim project in repo-
metadata, so CI decided on keeping it (despite no info from build-metadata,
asking CI maintainers about that curiousity).

Cheers
Friedrich

The only commit I did recently was removing the LSM file (!).

Apart from that, libkface is one of the many digikam-ware stuff around,
i.e. things that either digikam people want to control fully (but
without cring much about non-digikam usages), or that they stop caring
once digikam stops using it. Since the case here is the latter, just
drop it from Applications (where it should not have been part, to begin
with).

IIRC my commit was just to fix issue that I hit when packaging it on our
distribution. If it is going to be moved to unmaintained then I have no
issue with that.

This all seems perfectly reasonable from my perspective (the KStars
change has been actioned already even)

Ok, if it's broken and noone seems to care about it lets drop it.

I've CC'ed the 4 people that have made any commit in the last 4 years in case
they want to object, you have until this thursday at 23:59 UTC.

Maybe I don't understand either, I'm fine with it going the same way as blogilo.

I don't understand why you want to move it to extragear if it is unmaintained,
who is going to do releases?

It has been struggling to keep up with newer OpenCV releases for two
years, and is broken again since >=3.2 (almost one year). KPhotoAlbum
is the only rdep, where it is off by default already.

What to do with the repos we don't ship anymore in KDE Applications 17.12

2017-11-12 Thread Albert Astals Cid
My suggestions:

Broken -> unmaintained
 * blogilo

Not needed -> unmaintained
 * jovie
 * kaccessible
 * ksaneplugin

No commit for years -> unmaintained
 * kremotecontrol
 * kppp
 * kfilereplace

Want to release on their own -> extragear
 * kstars

Some activity but no KF5 port -> extragear
 * kopete
 * kscd

Comments?

Cheers,
  Albert
