Those loops as you refer to are actually inductors of a very small value.
They are in all intent a passive component. The size and shape derives the
inductance value. If you burned one out you were definately sinking some heavy
current, check your output transistors as you prob cooked at least

I think I still have the repeater conversion article from 220 Notes
around here someplace. I did the conversion years ago for my first
repeater and it worked quite well. I can try to dig it out if anyone is
interested.

I lived up in Rome NY for a couple of years when I was stationed at
Griffiss Air Force Base. Six inches of snow only got a brief comment
during the local weather cast. They considered it a dusting.

Hello,
This email message is a notification to let you know that

As far as I know, GLB never made the schematic available.
I posted to the FILES area what I received with the preamps that I had
purchased over the years. I've used them on all three bands with good
luck. Skipp was trying to reverse engineer one I sent him.

Dave,
Please advise the part number of the PA board, usually stamped in black ink
along one edge of the board. It's difficult for us to help you, if we don't
know exactly which PA board you have.

Dave is operating the radio at 441.900 MHz. Dunno what mods have been made
to optimize operation outside of the 450-470 MHz design band.

Hello,
I have a card that came out of a VHF MSR2000. I can't seem to find any info on
the card. Google, etc came up blank. Does anyone know of this card, whats it
is used for or is it junk for HAM use?
The only thing on the card that identifies it is printed to the left of the
