I did one a year or two ago, do not key the PTT as it will have a very nasty output. I did the manual power control mod to control the output power and then broke the B+ line to the second driver in the power amp section, key it with a relay and it will work fairly well. - Original

Re: [Repeater-Builder] Micor Audio on VERY WEAK SIGNALS

2007-11-04 Thread James H Vernetti
I am using a CAT 200B controller on a 222 mhz repeater made from a Micor mobile that I converted to 222 mhz and a UHF GE Delta-s for a remote base radio. I am using discriminator audio from both radios with the 0047uf C10 and C11 installed, everyone says that the repeater audio is excellent.

when we were using 203.5 ctcss on our 900 mhz system [all Maxtracs ] someone's phone would intermittently bring the repeater up, we changed to dcs [114] and the problem went away. 73 Jim wd0ekr - Original Message - From: wb6ymhmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To:

I have built two UHF repeaters using GE Delta-s radios, they are both on Colorado Mtn tops and operating just fine. I am also using 420 mhz Delta-s radios for link radios for our IRLP system, all of the radios are using the Ge Delta Call Guard boards, for the transmitters I removed the PA board

Forgot to add that I did experiment with a 2 meter repeater using the Delta-s and was not happy with the receiver performance at the 600 khz spacing so I went back to using Motorola Mitrek's for the two meter stuff. 73 Jim Yahoo! Groups Links * To visit your group on the web, go to:
